A New Beginning

I've had a blog for a number of years, sometimes posting often and sometimes ignoring it. However, that blog is on a website of mine that I wish to close. I really don't want to lose the posts from that blog so I am hoping to transfer them all here, giving them the dates they had originally. Perhaps, however, I will start with a bit of my story--dated April 10, 2005.
